Emil Ferjančić
master herbalist

My name is Emil Ferjančić, and I live in Galižana, a small village in the southern part of Istria, where the sun sets into the sea, leaving unforgettable traces on the horizon. This region, rich in history and tradition, is known for its olives, and our family’s olive grove stands as a testament to that long-lasting bond with nature.

In addition to olive growing, we also keep bees – the aroma of honey spreading from our hives reflects our love for the nature that surrounds us. Over the years, our home has been filled with the scents of lavender, thyme, and other herbs that grow in this part of Istria.

One of my greatest passions has always been medicinal plants. It may sound a bit unusual, but this connection with plants, their properties, and their healing powers has simply been a part of me since early childhood. Why plants? It’s something I feel, even though I couldn’t explain it myself.

Since I have my own olive oil, beeswax, and a deep love for plants, about a year ago I decided to expand my knowledge and passion into making natural creams and balms. This new hobby is not only an extension of my interests but has become a true enjoyment in everyday life. Using natural ingredients offered by nature itself gives me special satisfaction, and every product I make carries its own unique story.

Out of this passion and love for nature, my brand Feri BIO was born. The creams and balms I produce are based on my own ingredients – olive oil, beeswax, and medicinal herbs. I offer creams made from immortelle, myrtle, rosemary, thyme, yarrow, lavender, bay leaf, and wild calendula, as well as macerates of St. John’s wort, comfrey, and propolis.

Every cream and balm is the result of care, love, and dedication that I put into each step of the production process. I am proud of what I have achieved – the praise from my customers confirms the quality of the products, and their loyalty and return for new items motivate me even more to continue my work and enjoy creating.
